Market Equipment is seeking a skilled HVAC/R Service Technician for full-time, year-round commercial service work in the Spokane, WA area. The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will maintain, diagnose, and repair multiple types of refrigeration systems, as well as all mechanical and electrical components related to the equipment. This includes self-contained coolers and freezers, single and rack systems, etc. The technician will also perform minor plumbing repairs on refrigeration equipment, including walk-in drain lines, case drain lines, cooling towers, and water-cooled condensers.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain, diagnose, and repair refrigeration systems and their mechanical and electrical components.
• Perform minor plumbing repairs on refrigeration equipment.
• Inspect plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration systems to identify specifications required.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs for HVAC and Refrigeration.
• Collaborate directly with grocery store managers and store directors.
• Quote equipment repairs and recommend replacement when necessary.
• Maintain proper van stock, tools, and safety equipment on work vans.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Good judgment for use of supplies and materials in refrigeration repairs.
• Attention to detail and critical analysis for diagnostics and work performed.
• Professional communication skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• 2+ years prior HVAC/R experience.
• Able to pass a physical/drug screen/background investigation/driver's abstract as needed.
