About the Role
Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as a HVAC Building Solutions Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for selling Johnson Controls BE offerings to mechanical contractors, designers, and consulting engineers.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in selling HVAC or building automation systems, with excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills. A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field is required.
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to build long-term customer relationships and partnerships with assigned accounts, positioning renewable service agreements as a foundation of these relationships. You will also work closely with operations partners to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Responsibilities
• Sell Johnson Controls BE offerings persuasively, persistently, and confidently to all members of the construction community, including contractors, consultants, and designers.
• Build partnering relationships with owners and decision-makers in the construction industry to drive the sale of Johnson Controls offerings.
• Seek out, target, and initiate contact with multiple prospective customers in alignment with JCI strategy, developing and maintaining a network of industry contacts.
• Address customer operational and environmental objectives, needs, and requirements, recommending solutions that link customer objectives to total value and competitive advantage.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1-3 years of experience selling HVAC or building automation systems.
• Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven ability to influence the market at key levels.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $51,800-$75,000, depending on education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. This role also includes a competitive Sales Incentive Plan and benefits package.
