We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Systems Commissioning Technician to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects, develop your skills, and advance your career in the field of HVAC systems commissioning.
About the Job:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools. You will troubleshoot and resolve basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems, respond to basic warranty calls, and complete administrative tasks.
Your Key Responsibilities:
• Loading system-level controller software and performing basic commissioning and system diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices.
• Keeping management and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issues, calibrating systems requiring basic electronic test equipment.
• Documenting changes and providing information for as-built documentation, communicating with the JCI contractor or customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
• FOLLOWING ALL SAFETY STANDARDS AND ATTENDING REQUIRED SAFETY TRAINING.

Requirements:
• Knowledge of HVAC controls systems, facilities management systems, site preparation, peripheral equipment installation, and servicing techniques.
• Effective interpersonal skills to represent Johnson Controls professionally.
• Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people, leadership skills to support Mechanics working on Building Automation equipment.
• PC experience and ability to program HVAC-related software.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Vocational School or Associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or similar field.
• Three years of industry experience or five years' experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry.
