Job Overview: Malace HR is seeking a skilled HVAC Maintenance Mechanic to support the operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience with preventive and repair response work orders, as well as performing defined tasks independently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other installed systems, equipment, and components.
• Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds and production equipment as it pertains to assigned buildings.
• Conduct assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as-found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations.
• Perform general interior maintenance tasks, including hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, repairing office furniture systems, and repairing doors.
• Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested.
• Replace lighting and ballasts.
• Clean HVAC coils, change filters, and belts.
Salary Information: This position offers a competitive salary of $35-40 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3rd Party Certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs., work from heights, and perform physical labor in adverse conditions.
