Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Chancey & Reynolds. As an essential member of our crew, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Salary Range:
$24-$30/HR (Piece Pay) in Knoxville, TN.
Key Responsibilities:
• Installation: Install heating, cooling, and ventilation systems according to manufacturer specifications, building codes, and design plans.
• Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks such as inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and component replacement to ensure optimal system efficiency.
• Repair: Diagnose and repair malfunctions in heating, cooling, and ventilation systems, including troubleshooting issues and replacing faulty components.
• Testing and Calibration: Test HVAC systems to ensure proper functionality, temperature control, humidity regulation, and airflow, and calibrate thermostats, sensors, and controls as needed.
• Refrigerant Handling: Handle refrigerants safely and responsibly, following environmental regulations and safety protocols.
• Customer Interaction: Interact with customers to explain issues, provide solutions, and offer recommendations for system maintenance or upgrades.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and installations for tracking system performance and identifying recurring issues.
• Safety and Regulations: Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
• Upkeep of Tools and Equipment: Keep tools and equipment in good working condition and stock service vehicles with necessary parts and supplies.
• Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with advancements in HVAC technology, energy-efficient systems, and industry regulations to enhance professional growth.
