The salary for this position is estimated to be between $60,000 - $90,000 per year, based on national averages and market data.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled HVAC systems serviceman who has worked in residential, light commercial and/or heavy commercial markets to join our team. You will work with advanced heavy commercial and industrial cutting-edge equipment. The scope of work shall be limited to commercial HVACR service.
You must have practical working experience in residential, light commercial or commercial mechanical equipment. You may be required to satisfactorily pass an examination as to identify special skills. Servicemen may partner with Journeymen in the repair of centrifugal, steam turbines, and absorption machines, open-drive screw chillers and ammonia systems.
Your responsibilities include performing maintenance, repair and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems. This includes troubleshooting and identifying problems, and providing solutions to ensure optimal system performance.
Requirements:
• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years of Commercial and/or industrial, mechanical troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry.
• Able to commit to a 30-Hour OSHA Certification which is to be done after hours and on weekends.
• Computer savvy with good verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Five (5) years of Commercial and/or industrial work experience in the HVAC industry.
• Refrigeration Certification preferred.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification.
