Service Technician Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and experienced service technician to join our team at Service Legends, a reputable home services company. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of heating and air conditioning systems.
Job Responsibilities:
• Perform thorough maintenance on all ages of equipment to prevent breakdowns and reduce energy consumption.
• Accurately diagnose heating and air conditioning system issues and recommend effective solutions to customers.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build long-lasting relationships with clients.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in HVAC technology.
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of HVAC experience.
• Journeyman License ($2,500 Sign-On Bonus).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• NATE certifications.
• Sales experience.
• Basic sheet metal experience.
• Basic Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) knowledge and experience.
• Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Basic computer skills.
• Skill in performing routine manual labor.
• The ability to use various hand and power tools common to trade.
• The ability to learn through observation and hands-on experience.
• The ability to follow routine, verbal, and written instructions.
• The ability to communicate with team members and customers effectively.
• Being capable of maintaining professional working relationships with team members.
• The ability to understand, analyze, interpret, and implement ideas contained in technical documents, reports, regulations, etc.
• The ability to perform basic mathematical functions.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds. The employee must be comfortable working in tight spaces for an extended period of time in attics and crawl spaces as needed. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Compensation & Hours:
• Starting wage of $24.75 - $33.00 per hour (DOE) + bonus & incentives.
• Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (flexible start and end times depending on business needs).
• Days: Monday - Friday with occasional weekends.
