About the Role:
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding skilled trade professionals (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing) to support our growing operations. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with significant career growth potential. Key Responsibilities:
• Recruitment and Screening: Source, screen, and interview candidates for skilled trade roles.
• Onboarding and Training: Ensure smooth onboarding for new hires, aligning them with company culture and expectations.
• Employee Engagement: Foster strong relationships with employees, supporting retention and satisfaction.
• Compliance: Maintain accurate employee records and ensure adherence to labor and employment laws.
• Event Coordination: Plan and execute events to recognize and celebrate employee contributions.
• Reporting: Prepare and provide detailed reports and updates to management.
Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in a high-volume customer service, HR, or recruiting role (staffing/recruiting experience preferred but not required).
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in employment laws and best practices.
• A proactive approach to building rapport with employees and candidates.
• Willingness to occasionally work evenings and weekends to meet project deadlines.
