The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Operations Director to oversee the daily operations of our service department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of service technicians, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high-quality service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Team Management: Lead and manage a team of skilled HVAC service technicians to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
• Service Coordination: Collaborate with dispatchers to manage service calls, work orders, and technician schedules to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Safety and Efficiency: Ensure all service activities are conducted safely and efficiently, within budget and regulatory requirements.
• Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to service technicians to maintain high-quality service standards.
• Customer Satisfaction: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities for service technicians.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory management to ensure adequate stock of parts and equipment.
• Customer Communication: Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests promptly and professionally.
• Process Improvement: Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and improve service efficiency.
Requirements:
• Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in commercial HVAC service, with at least three years in a managerial role.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Financial Management: Solid understanding of financial management and budgeting principles.
• Certifications: EPA Certification is preferred.
