Job Title: Conduit and Wiring Technician
At Wood plc, we are looking for a reliable and skilled Conduit and Wiring Technician to work in our fabrication shop in Longmont, CO. This temporary assignment is expected to last 3-4 weeks, and candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius from the facility.
We offer a competitive salary of $48,000 - $58,000 per year, based on experience. As a Conduit and Wiring Technician, your primary responsibilities will include assisting Journeypersons with various tasks, such as digging trenches, planning, layout, installation, and wire repair, conduit, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit using specialized tools.
• Pull wiring through conduit and splice wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads.
• Install control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels, and secure them with screws or bolts.
• Loading, transporting, and unloading material, tools, equipment, and supplies.
Requirements:
• Previous experience as an electrical helper (1-2 years).
• High school diploma or equivalent with prior experience in the field or related area.
• Familiarity with common concepts, practices, and procedures within the electrical field.
