Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Industrial HVAC Systems Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a commercial chiller maintenance technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our heavy commercial and industrial equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in the HVAC industry, with a focus on commercial and industrial work. You should possess strong troubleshooting skills and be able to commit to ongoing training and certification programs.
A Massachusetts Refrigeration License is required for this position. You will also need to pass a satisfactory examination to demonstrate your special skills.
About the Role
This is a Bargaining Unit Position, and as such, we offer competitive compensation and benefits. The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
You will work closely with our experienced team to perform maintenance, repair, and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems. This may include working with centrifugal, steam turbines, and absorption machines, open-drive screw chillers, and ammonia systems.
What We Look For
• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• Five years of commercial and/or industrial, mechanical troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry
• A Massachusetts Refrigeration License
• Ability to commit to ongoing training and certification programs
