Job Description
Rentmeister Total Home Service is seeking an experienced HVAC installer/journeyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will install air conditioning, heating and control systems, heat pumps, and mini splits in new construction/residential homes.
Key Responsibilities
• Install air conditioning, heating, and control systems, heat pumps, and mini splits in new construction/residential homes.
Requirements
• High school graduate with a post-secondary HVAC program of instruction lasting two or more years.
• One or more years of full-time HVAC experience, preferably in new construction installation.
• Good oral and reading skills, including the ability to read and apply manufacturers' installation instructions.
• Ability to communicate clearly with Rentmeister employees.
• Physical ability to perform duties under various conditions, circumstances, and extreme weather conditions.
• Interest in maintaining HVAC skills through self-study, company training, manufacturers' workshops, and professional development activities.
• Current driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to work efficiently under time pressures and overtime as needed.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Preferred Qualifications
• RMGA certification.
• EPA certification.
• Completion of or current attendance at an HVAC trade school (or equivalent experience).

Compensation and Work Schedule
This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime. Compensation depends on skills and experience.
