The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial and industrial HVAC systems. They will be responsible for identifying maintenance risks, diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults, and ensuring compliance with appliance standards and safety regulations.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Identify maintenance risks on equipment and take corrective action.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems and perform repairs.
• Clean, adjust, and repair systems, and perform warranty services.
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and safety regulations.
Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience as an HVAC technician, and willingness to continue education in HVAC field.
• Valid driver's license.
• Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
• Working knowledge of boiler and steam systems.
• Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
• Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
