The Mobile Service Mechanic plays a vital role in maintaining a fleet of rental equipment at Home Depot stores and customer job sites within their market. Main Responsibilities:

• Inspect and maintain a fleet of rental equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Perform routine visits to Home Depot stores and customer job sites to conduct inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Respond to service calls and order parts needed for equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Utilize company technology platforms to document all work performed on equipment, including labor and parts.
• Assist with equipment deliveries and pick-ups as required.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience servicing construction equipment.
• Light construction equipment maintenance knowledge and/or skills, including small engines and hydraulics.
• Ability to read and understand technical repair and parts manuals for equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and other components.
• Valid driver's license.
• Familiarity with inventory management.
• Working knowledge of handheld technology (smartphone, laptop, tablet).
• Ability to work effectively with different personality types and all levels of associates.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to unforeseen circumstances.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
