We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Energy & Commissioning team at LaBella Associates. As an HVAC Systems Design Manager, you will be responsible for leading the design of building HVAC systems and district energy systems, as well as field investigations to document existing conditions.
About the Job
This is a mid-level Mechanical Engineer position that requires 4-8 years of experience in HVAC and hydronic system design. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead design of building HVAC systems and district energy systems
• Field investigations to document existing conditions
• Selection and calculations for design purposes
• Work with Jr Engineers to develop and review project drawings and documentation
• Interact directly with clients by completing analysis of design options, cost benefit comparisons, and communicating results to assist in decision making process
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and utility requirements
The estimated salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
