Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring that all HVAC systems operate efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating and cooling equipment.
• Utilize tools such as Ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to assess system performance.
• Fabricate components as needed to complete repairs or installations.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
Experience
• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on logic controllers and other HVAC components.
• Experience in facilities maintenance is a plus.
• Proficiency in English for effective communication with clients and team members.
• Ability to weld is considered an asset but not mandatory.
