Job Title: HVAC Maintenance Mechanic
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in the Omaha area.
About the Role:
This is a 1st shift position that pays $30-33 per hour. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting operation, inspection, and maintenance processes to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintenance
• Perform ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other installed systems, equipment, and components.
• Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds, and production equipment as it pertains to assigned buildings.
• Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as-found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations.
• General interior maintenance includes hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, repairing office furniture systems, and repairing doors.
• Moves office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested.
• Replaces lighting and ballasts.
• Cleans HVAC coils, changes filters, and belts.
• Other tasks as assigned.
• Safety
• Completes Hazard Assessments as necessary.
• Complies with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognizes danger and safety hazards and proposes methods to eliminate them.
• Maintains compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.
• Must complete all required safety trainings as scheduled.
• Practices Defensive Driving at all times.
• Complies with all policies for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Driving
• Candidate must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license (if mobile).
• Administrative
• Submits P-card Receipts Daily.
• Updates work order status in real-time.
• Utilizes CMMS systems such as 360 Facility for all work performed.
• Performs Vehicle Safety Inspection.
• Escalates problems or issues to Customer and Manager in a timely manner.
• Attends work and safety meetings as required.
• Other
• Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.
Requirements:
• Education/Training
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3rd Party Certification.
Physical Work Requirements and Conditions:
• Lifting up to 80 lbs.
• Working from heights.
• Frequently climbing, bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, and working/extending overhead.
• Working in adverse conditions (i.e., extreme cold, extreme hot).
• Driving for long periods of time.
• Climbing a ladder up to 30 feet.
Estimated Salary: $30-33 per hour
