About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled Mechnical Systems Technician to join our facilities team at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts. This role will involve installing, maintaining, and repairing various mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and maintain various mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of mechanical systems to identify potential issues.
• Perform repairs and replacements of mechanical system components, as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and recommend system upgrades or modifications.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a mechanical systems technician or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Experience with blueprint reading and piping layout.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Salary and Benefits:
• A salary range of $50,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience.
