Job Overview
Amstel Mechanical Contractors Inc is a family-owned and operated business that has been serving the New Castle County area for over 45 years. We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in residential and commercial HVAC installation and service, with a strong understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating. They will also possess excellent mechanical knowledge of HVAC installation and maintenance procedures, building codes, and safety regulations.
This is a full-time position with a salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be required to work after hours, weekends (when on call), and holidays, with a rotating on-call shift during nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalency
• Valid driver's license and Good driving record
• Vocational training, on-the-job training, and/or apprenticeship of an HVAC program a plus
• Current HVAC certification/license and/or minimum 7 years' experience
