Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Residential HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Accurate Mechanical Inc.
About the Job
This is a full-time position based in Lancaster/Circleville, Ohio, where you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing residential HVAC equipment to ensure optimal indoor air quality and comfort.
You will work independently to diagnose and troubleshoot operational and performance issues with HVAC equipment, repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring, and perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
Key Responsibilities
• Customer Service: Communicate with customers regarding repairs needed/completed and recommend Indoor Air Quality solutions to customers such as Humidifiers, Air Purifiers, UV lights, upgraded filtration.
• Technical Skills: Use technology to record service ticket information, communicate with Customer Service Representative and order parts.
• Support: Support after-hours and weekend on-call service rotation.
Requirements:
• EPA 608 Refrigerant Certification, Universal preferred
• 2+ years' experience in the industry
• 10 hr. OSHA card, preferred
• NATE certification, preferred
• Knowledge of fundamentals of how residential heaters, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment operate and function.
• Ability to mentor and train less-experienced team members
Estimated Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
