We are seeking a skilled HVAC Systems Technician to join our team at SEPTA. As a key member of our maintenance staff, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing building HVAC systems and related equipment.
• *Job Summary**
The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of low-pressure steam, high-temperature hot water, warm air heating units, refrigeration, and air conditioning equipment. You will also have experience with electrical, mechanical, electronic, and pneumatic components related to HVAC systems.
• *Key Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain, and repair building HVAC systems and related equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on HVAC equipment
• Inspect and test HVAC systems to ensure they are functioning properly
• *Requirements:*
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school training or 5 years of practical experience in a related field preferred
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and related equipment
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, electronic, and pneumatic components
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
