Business Development Representative - HVAC Sales
About the Job:
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our team at Johnson Controls. In this role, you will be responsible for increasing sales and margin of residential and light commercial HVAC equipment and supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Proactively interact with existing House Accounts and York Dealers to increase sales and margin.
• Maintain an ongoing relationship with assigned House Accounts and York Dealers.
• Make occasional sales calls to customer base, where and when appropriate.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have a University degree and 1 year minimum sales experience, or a 2 year degree and 3 years minimum sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Skills:
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, freight, and margin rates.
• Ability to solve practical problems, develop long-term solutions, and effectively communicate resolutions to customers.
• Proficiency in MS Excel Spreadsheet software, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, and quotation and order entry software.
Salary:
The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000, depending on location and experience.
