About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HVAC Project Director to lead our large-scale commercial HVAC projects in Orange, CA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing complex mechanical systems, including HVAC, chillers, boilers, and building automation systems.
Responsibilities:
• Project planning and execution: Manage all phases of commercial HVAC projects, including design, estimation, and installation.
• Technical expertise: Provide expertise on HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, piping, and control systems.
• Project management: Utilize MS Project and other project management tools to monitor project budgets and timelines.
• Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Quality control: Implement stringent quality control measures and use software like Bluebeam and AutoCAD to ensure client specifications are met.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in HVAC project management within the commercial construction industry.
• Technical expertise in HVAC technologies, building automation systems, and software tools like Bluebeam and AutoCAD.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
• Local work history in the Orange, CA area, with a deep understanding of regional building codes and regulations.
The salary for this position is estimated at $125,000 - $185,000 per year, based on the location and job requirements.
