Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Building Engineer to join our team at CCS Facility Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient and proper operation of assigned properties.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits and electrical safety procedures, as well as knowledge of heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and Central Plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain a high level of expertise in building automation systems (BAS) and pneumatic or direct digital control (DDC) controllers and actuators.
• Perform inspections on chillers; adjust and record findings.
• Repair or replace belts, motors, bearings, actuators and valves on all mechanical equipment.
• Conduct life safety system inspections and respond to fire alarms and trouble calls.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs for all building mechanical equipment.
Requirements:
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in the building operation/maintenance field preferred.
• Universal EPA Refrigerant Handler License required.
• NATE Certified HVAC Technician.
• Refrigeration Operating Engineer or Stationary Engineer License required.
Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
