Job Summary
Meyers Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a skilled HVAC Installation Specialist to join our team. As an essential member of our installation crew, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in new construction residential projects.
Compensation: $30-$42 per hour, based on experience.
About the Role
This is a hands-on position that requires strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. You will work closely with our experienced technicians to ensure timely and accurate installations. Key responsibilities include:
• Installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units in new construction residential systems
• Assembling and sealing ductwork
• Hanging ductwork and associated fittings straight, plumb, and level
• Cutting in and installing take-offs
• Installing round pipe and associated fittings
• Terminating flex to registers
• Using blueprints, system layout, and duct design knowledge
• Setting and installing rooftop units
• Setting/mounting equipment, rough-in and trim duct systems, condensate piping, control wiring
• Managing time effectively to stay on task and schedule
• Maintaining a professional appearance
To succeed in this role, you should have:
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of previous HVAC installation experience (helper) or 4+ years of experience as an install lead with the ability to read blueprints and/or Bluebeam
• EPA/CFC certification
• A valid state driver's license and clean driving record
• Self-starter skills with the ability to work with little supervision
• Ability to participate in training opportunities
