About the Role
This challenging role requires an experienced HVAC technician with advanced knowledge of unitary skills, chiller systems, and airside skills. Ideal candidates will have expertise in brand-specific controls, service processes, and techniques.
Main Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, and repair complex heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Demonstrate expertise in unitary systems, including split system installations, mini-split system configurations, and rooftop unit maintenance
• Work with chillers, encompassing air-cooled and water-cooled systems
• Apply advanced airside skills, including fan-powered box and VAV box operations
• Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements and Qualifications
• 5-7 years of experience in HVAC technology
• Advanced knowledge of service processes, techniques, and codes
• Expertise in brand-specific controls and efficient troubleshooting methods
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Compensation Package
The salary range for this position is $90,000-$120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. This figure reflects the industry standards and expected qualifications for a Lead HVAC Specialist.
