Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Operations Manager to lead our high-profile projects, driving operational excellence and innovation.
This role involves managing day-to-day operations, overseeing project planning, resource allocation, scheduling, and execution. You will provide leadership to project managers, field teams, and technicians, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in HVAC mechanical projects, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. They possess strong business acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and contract management. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and HVAC design tools is also essential.
Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day operations of HVAC mechanical projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Oversee project planning, resource allocation, scheduling, and execution.
• Provide leadership to project managers, field teams, and technicians, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to build strong relationships and ensure project success.
• Review and approve project budgets, proposals, and change orders.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and industry regulations.
• Monitor project progress and provide strategic guidance to resolve challenges.
• Drive operational efficiency by implementing best practices and streamlining workflows.
• Develop and mentor team members, promoting professional growth and skill development.
Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in HVAC mechanical projects, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical design, and construction processes.
• Strong business acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and contract management.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and HVAC design tools.
