The Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County is seeking an experienced HVAC Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance staff, you will be responsible for the installation, operation, modification, repair, troubleshooting, and testing of new and existing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and associated equipment.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including residential, scattered-sites, and commercial boilers and chillers.
• Conduct preliminary estimates of materials, time, and labor necessary to complete jobs.
• Lead others by providing instruction, guidance, and cross-training in skills of the trade.
• Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least three years of experience with HVAC systems and associated equipment.
• Considerable knowledge of standard practices, methods, tools, and materials common to the HVAC trade.
• Ability to work stand-by shifts or respond to emergency service calls.
