We are seeking an adept and experienced Project Manager/Design Consultant with a strong focus on hydronic system design. This role requires not only technical proficiency but also a positive demeanor, ethical commitment, and a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Address customer needs through attentive listening and transparent communication.
• Provide customer education on available options, their capabilities, and limitations.
• Provide leadership and sound judgment throughout project execution.
• Thoroughly review job contracts and related documentation to understand project scope.
• Expertly design hydronic systems according to local codes, manufacture spec, and standard design practices.
• Estimate project costs and streamline the estimation process for improved bid efficiency.
• Produce bids and proposals in a timely manner.
• Manage and coordinate the execution of contracted services, ensuring adherence to company standards.
• Generate piping and wiring diagrams for installation crew.
• Provide valuable technical support to field technicians and customers.
• Coordinate procurement and delivery of materials in a cost-efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate records and complete all necessary paperwork.
• Coordinate job follow-up and completion, maintaining contact with clients as needed.
• Ensure all work inspections are completed and approved by relevant authorities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience in the design, installation, or service of hydronic systems.
• Proficiency in communication, both verbal and written, with a professional and courteous approach in all interactions.
• High standards of professionalism and customer service.
• Self-motivated and well-organized, capable of excelling both independently and within a team.
• Integrity and attention to detail are paramount.
• Ability to pass background checks as required.
• Basic understanding of control strategies and equipment selection for Boiler/HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of hydronic piping methods, installation techniques, and materials.
• Knowledge of current plumbing/electrical/HVAC/mechanical codes.
• Presentable and professional appearance, reflecting the values of the company.
