About the Role
This position involves working as a skilled Commercial Refrigeration Technician with Mark Young Construction, LLC (MYC) in Frederick, Colorado. The successful candidate will work closely with clients in the Retail Refrigeration Industry and collaborate with colleagues on their team.
Responsibilities:
• Installation of HVAC/R Systems: Install ductwork, piping, and electrical components in commercial buildings, adhering to local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
• Technical Expertise: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine proper installation procedures.
• Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R systems to ensure optimal performance, diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions, replace defective components, and conduct system tests and inspections.
Requirements and Qualifications:
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential.
• The candidate must own all necessary tools for installation and be willing to pass CFC certification within six months of hire.
• Effective communication skills, including the ability to speak English fluently, are required.
• The selected candidate must be able to work out of town occasionally and communicate efficiently with Managers and Vendors.
