MSD is looking for an Electrician to join our team!
The Electrician will perform general installation and service of electrical systems including services, distribution, lighting, and equipment connections. Low voltage installations will also be the responsibility of the Electrician. The Electrician supports the total quality effort by identifying and responding to the needs of internal and external customers 100% of the time.
Key Job Duties:
• Quoted work. Remodels, lighting, space changes, and machine connections.
• Time and materials. Service calls and adds/changes to existing jobs.
• Low voltage installation and service. Cat5e and HVAC control wiring.
• Customer relations and PM. Work with the customer to discover their needs and communicate that to the sales/management team.
• Work with customer personnel to fully understand and meet their needs and requirements.
• Work with the sales staff to recognize new opportunities and build customer retention through superior service.
• Work with others in the company to promote the best image for MSD and promote all the services that we provide.
• Complete assigned work in a safe and timely manner.
• Work on your own with minimal assistance unless absolutely needed.
• Attend to customers needs regardless of how minimal they may seem.
• Order materials in a timely manner to avoid waiting on its arrival.
• Attend meetings as needed and/or requested.
• Check work when complete for proper installation/operation before leaving.
• Do your paperwork at the end of every day.
• Maintain proper documents. The job isnt complete until all paperwork is complete.
• Never stop learning. There are almost limitless resources to educate yourself and grow. Use them.
• Take safety seriously and make every effort to keep yourself and your team safe. Everyone needs to head home at the end of the day.

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
• 10+ years commercial electrical experience
• Cat 5-6 and other low voltage experience (preferred)
• Ability to analyze and understand complex technical writings, schematics, drawings, blueprints, etc.
• Ability to communicate in written and spoken English, including technical writing, speech, and other business correspondence
• Unencumbered US drivers license
• US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status required
