The Journeyman Plumber reports directly to the Field Operations Manager on a day-to-day basis and is officially managed by the President of Commercial Services.A Journeyman Plumber is responsible for the following:Timely execution of tasks given by Journeyman Plumbers and the Field Operations Manager that may include:Ability to self-direct at most times to complete the objectives of a given projectInstallation and repair of a variety of fixtures, piping and assorted plumbing productsAbility to lead and direct Apprentices and HelpersJackhammering/concrete removalDirt and gravel removalDigging to expose plumbing, lines and other servicable partsLoading and unloading of materialsRunning parts from warehouse, supply houses and moreJob site cleanup and tool removal and securityAny other tasks given by Field Operations ManagerThe Journeyman Plumber is a crucial member of the team. A successful candidate for this position must demonstrate:Sufficient Education/Experience Level equating to a JourneymanLeadership and desire to teach Apprentices and HelpersEfficient time managenentA person who is positive and energetic.Valid In-State Driver's License RequiredNo experience is necessary but helpfulLicensing not required but a desire to become licensed is a plusMust be able to repeatedly lift 50 lbs and abovePass all pre-employment screeningThe typical workday is 7AM - 3:30PM Monday through Friday.
