Responsibilities:
• Identify potential opportunities with existing and new customers.
• Provide knowledge and consultation in developing HVAC system solutions for customer problems, including financial and performance-based considerations.
• Actively participate and travel for National Organizations, Tradeshows, and other events to develop and maintain industry/trade relationships.
• Coordinate product training with suppliers and associations.
• Train company-owned employees and independent distributors to support National Accounts strategic objectives.
• Resolve market conflict between distribution channels in shared territories while growing overall market share.
• Consistently ascertain customer needs and current market opportunities.
• Keep current with market trends and identify new ways to improve customer satisfaction & loyalty; strengthen market position and accelerate revenue growth.
• Identify and communicate competitor activities and other industry activities that affect product management and sales growth.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing in creating robust national and local marketing strategies.
• Work with distribution and regional sales teams as needed to reach plan goals.
• Develop relationships with purchasing influencers in the customer’s organization, including construction managers, vice presidents, and procurement leaders.
• Develop and implement best practices for establishing, building, and maintaining client relationships that position the company as a provider of choice.
• Participate in additional projects to support ongoing business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams - Sales, Marketing, and Distribution.
Qualifications:
• Product knowledge and HVAC industry knowledge a strong asset.
• Ability to read and comprehend residential architect and engineer plans.
• Demonstrates the ability to execute the consultative selling approach in a B2B environment; excellent relationship management skills.
• Ability to effectively negotiate agreements with customers and related parties.
• Comprehend detailed knowledge of Company products and services, customers, decision makers, sales processes, and market trends.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Proficient in creating and presenting builder presentations using PowerPoint both verbally and in print.
• Ability to communicate effectively ideas, concepts, business plans, and strategies.
• Develop quality interpersonal relationships and demonstrate flexibility and an open mind in social styles.
• Embrace the "customer and team first" concept and use a collaborative style in problem solving.
• Frame professional activities through an organized and detailed time management system.
• Demonstrate discernment and sound judgment; apply strong work ethics and integrity on the job.
• 5+ years sales experience preferably in the HVAC industry.
• New Construction experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Education and/or experience in RNC a plus.
Additional Information:
• Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Up to 35% travel required.
Pay Range: $100,000 - $125,000
