Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Union Journeyman to work with our team at RJ O'Neil. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioners, heaters, ventilation, and refrigeration units.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system issues, performing necessary repairs or replacements.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation.
• Supervise and mentor apprentices, providing guidance and ensuring compliance with union standards.
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations of system operations and maintenance tips.
• Maintain knowledge of the latest industry technologies, tools, and best practices through ongoing education and training.
Requirements:
• Valid HVAC Journeyman license or certification.
• Membership in a recognized HVAC union.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Commerical HVAC journeyman.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license.
