We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Journeyman to join our team at Johnson Controls. As an HVAC Service Specialist, you will work with the most advanced heavy commercial and industrial cutting-edge equipment.
The ideal candidate will be a skilled craftsman in their trade, with a minimum of five years of practical working experience in the HVAC plumbing, pipefitting, and/or mechanical equipment service industry.
You will have the opportunity to obtain factory certification through our Service Technical Academy (STA) with milestone recognition and monetary rewards. We also offer top-of-the-line technology, equipment, and uniforms, as well as a strong focus on employee safety.
Your duties will include troubleshooting and repairing complex HVAC systems, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication skills.
We offer a competitive salary of approximately $80,000 per year, plus benefits and opportunities for advancement.
Required qualifications include:
• Mechanical Journeyman status
• 5+ years of residential / light commercial / commercial HVAC / mechanical troubleshooting experience
• Licenses to work with refrigerants, boiler, and steam operational & service knowledge
