Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Field Installation Technician to join our team at The JPI Group. In this role, you will install, modify, inspect, and service energy efficiency devices in residential homes, working closely with customers to ensure their needs are met.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all jobs meet safety and company standards, and you will occasionally travel to meet customers' needs and participate in on-call rotations for after-hours service.
Key Responsibilities
• Install, inspect, and service Direct Load Control (DLC) devices
• Troubleshoot systems and apply basic knowledge to resolve issues
• Work closely with customers to provide professional and courteous service
• Ensure jobs meet safety and company standards
Requirements and Qualifications
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in HVAC, lighting, or related fields
• Basic construction and building knowledge
• Hands-on experience with tools and installations
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Estimated Salary
The estimated salary for this position is $20-$24 per hour, based on industry standards and the requirements of the job.
