About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Systems Design Engineer (HVAC) to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. As a seasoned engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing HVAC systems using 3D Revit or equivalent software.
We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and a passion for building design and construction. Your expertise will play a critical role in creating innovative, efficient, and compliant HVAC systems for various construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed, accurate models of HVAC systems utilizing 3D Revit or equivalent software.
- Collaborate closely with architects, project managers, and other engineers to integrate HVAC systems into overall building design.
- Conduct thorough calculations to determine system specifications and requirements.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports and design documents to stakeholders.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and maintenance of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure our designs remain innovative, efficient, and compliant.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HVAC systems design and functionality.
- Participate in project meetings and provide expert advice on HVAC systems design and implementation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in HVAC systems design, preferably in the construction industry.
- Expertise in using 3D Revit or equivalent software for designing HVAC systems.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including design principles, installation procedures, and maintenance techniques.
- Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in interpreting and creating technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to HVAC systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- Certification from a recognized industry body, such as the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), is a plus.
Benefits and Salary
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a strong compensation package and excellent benefits, including career growth opportunities.
