About the Position
We are currently looking for a dedicated and hardworking individual to fill the role of Groundsperson - Arborist at Lewis Tree Service Inc. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our utility services.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform line clearing and tree trimming duties for our utility customers
• Climb trees for manual trimming and removals in and above power lines
• Prepare, operate, and maintain all tools and equipment
• Remove limbs and brush, cleanup, and dispose of debris
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the ability to perform physical labor such as lifting a minimum of 50 lbs to shoulder height or more. You will also need to be capable of operating two-handed equipment and have the physical ability to endure extreme climate variances.
In addition to these requirements, you will need to be willing and able to obtain specialized training and certifications as required, such as tree species identification and local, state, and federal licenses. You will also need to obtain First Aid and CPR cards, pass a pre-employment drug test, and obtain a valid Driver's License.
