Technical Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled Heating and Air Conditioning Technician to join our team at McAllister Plumbing, Heating & Cooling. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in the field, with a strong understanding of heating and air conditioning systems, including furnace, boiler, air-conditioning, mini-splits, generator, and tankless hot water tanks. Additionally, the candidate should have knowledge of low and high voltage electrical systems and the ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams.
Responsibilities:
• Installation and maintenance of heating and air conditioning systems
• Troubleshooting and repair of existing systems
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of experience in HVAC installation and maintenance
• Knowledge of low and high voltage electrical systems
• Valid NY driver's license
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Compensation Package:
• Estimated salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
• Paid vacation: 5 days in the first year, 10 days after one year, and 15 days after five years of service
• Paid holidays: 6 days
• Paid sick time: up to 40 hours annually
