Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in both residential and commercial settings. The technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and efficiency of HVAC equipment while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, and refrigeration systems.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating and cooling systems, providing effective solutions.
• Weld components as necessary for repairs or modifications to HVAC systems.
• Work with ammonia refrigeration systems and perform boil tests as required.
• Design and implement efficient HVAC solutions tailored to client needs.
• Conduct appliance repairs related to HVAC systems as needed.
• Plumb new installations or modifications in compliance with local codes and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
Experience
• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
• Familiarity with refrigeration principles, electrical systems, and plumbing is essential.
• Experience in welding is a plus.
• Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations related to HVAC installation and maintenance is required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role.
