We seek an energetic Commercial Service Technician to take a significant role in troubleshooting and repairing the air conditioner of the future. This role is a Hybrid role and will require up to 75% Travel.

About the Commercial Service Technician Position:
We seek an experienced Commercial Service Technician to take a significant role in troubleshooting, repairing and starting up our fleet of DOAS Equipment. The successful candidate will “get in at the ground floor” of our newly launched and funded business to service our industry-changing commercial HVAC products. They must be comfortable working on old and new refrigeration technologies and have an open mind to new refrigeration concepts. Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot/Repair Commercial Liquid Desiccant DOAS equipment in a timely and Quality Manner
• Assist in monitoring/triaging equipment remotely through our Remote Monitoring Software
• Assist with training/technical support to customers and 3rd party contractors as needed
• Operate power and hand tools, as well as the ability to operate a motor vehicle
• Present a positive and helpful attitude at all times when interacting with customers and co-workers
• Utilize Technology to the fullest extent in order to enhance performance (email, internet usage, mobile service app, remote monitoring tool)
• Take on new duties as may be assigned at the factory in Anderson, SC, or elsewhere
• Maintain a high level of professionalism by arriving to work on time, and maintaining a neat physical appearance
Required Qualifications:
• Strong understanding of refrigeration fundamentals and superheat/subcooling, and troubleshooting
• Strong Electrical troubleshooting fundamentals
• Use electrical and piping schematics to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Strong Problem-Solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs
• Ability to stand/climb/stoop/kneel for frequent periods of time throughout the day
• Ability to work in the elements day in and day out
