Salary:
$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly experienced Industrial Refrigeration Technician to perform routine and unscheduled maintenance and repair of industrial refrigeration systems, including air-cooled chillers, centrifugal chillers, pumps, cooling towers, air handler units, valves, fan coil units, variable air volume systems, and more.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, chiller/HVAC maintenance, or a related field. They will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing machine and equipment defects, overseeing installation and operation of various mechanical systems, and assisting in defining and developing the training materials and tools needed to support our chiller/HVAC maintenance business.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience and/or certification in York Centrifugal and Air-Cooled Chillers preferred.
• 3 years of experience on 1,000 - 2,000 ton units preferred.
• Must possess personal tools or have the ability to purchase those tools upon hire.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to train junior technicians.
