Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Equipment Service Technician to join our team at Blejwas Associates. This is a full-time field position specializing in the maintenance and repair of medical refrigeration and ice machines. As a mobile technician, you will travel to customer sites throughout the Philadelphia, South Jersey, and Bucks County PA region. Your primary focus will be on medical ice machine equipment, medical and vaccine refrigeration installations, and preventative maintenance.
The ideal candidate should have excellent mechanical skills, be able to read wiring diagrams, and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues. A clean driving record is essential as company vehicles are provided. Training is offered in-house, in the field, and from manufacturers. While some refrigeration experience is preferred, it is not required. The successful candidate should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and accurate.
Key responsibilities include:
• Traveling to customer sites for equipment maintenance and repair
• Performing diagnostic tests and troubleshooting electrical components and refrigeration systems
• Completing job reports and submitting them to the office for invoicing
The standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm, with overtime and weekend work available. We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
Basic Qualifications Include:
• Universal EPA 608 certification (Type I & II) for servicing appliances
• Ability to read and write English to communicate with customers, suppliers, and coworkers
• Physical ability to perform manual duties
• Self-motivation and attention to detail
