Responsibilities:
· Lead, manage, and develop a team of HVAC technicians, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback
· Collaborate with clients to understand their service needs and provide appropriate solutions
· Monitor and maintain high-quality service standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies
· Track and analyze service department metrics, such as response time, first-time fix rate, and customer satisfaction
· Continuously improve service processes and procedures, striving for operational efficiency.
· Oversee inventory management, manage warranty claims and returns
· Recruit, interview, hire and train technicians. Attend Manufacturer hosted product and service level trainings.
· Maintain compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team
Requirements:
• 10+ years HVAC trade knowledge, skills and experience
· 5+ years managerial experience or Lead Technician role advising your peers (player-coach)
· Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and components
· Exceptional customer service and communication abilities
· Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards
· Proficiency in refrigeration piping, brazing, troubleshooting DX systems
· Experience with DX systems (split and packaged), air and water cooled chillers, VRF systems, Start-up
· Valid HVAC technician license/certification
· Good driving record
· High school diploma or equivalent; formal training from a Tradeschool preferred
