We are seeking a climate control expert to join our team at Western Pacific Mechanical Services.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced HVAC&R technician to install, service, or repair heating and air conditioning systems and refrigeration systems in commercial establishments.
Responsibilities:
• Repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to improve efficiency, such as by changing filters, or refilling non-toxic refrigerants.
• Establish customer rapport to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction.
• Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks, using a pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution.
• Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment.
• Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
Requirements:
• Past experience as an HVAC service technician or comparable education.
• Valid Driver's License.
• EPA Certification.
• Experience with operation and maintenance of chillers, heat pumps, air handlers, and geothermal systems.
• Ability to climb ladders, crawl, and lift 40 pounds.
• *Estimated Salary:** $70,000 - $90,000 per year.
