Company Overview:
Join Filtrex, a leading mechanical company specializing in nationwide HVAC R Preventive Maintenance for various types of equipment. We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC R Trainer to oversee the training, education, and quality control of our technicians.
Compensation & Benefits:
• Annual salary ranging from $60,000 to $75,000, commensurate with experience.
• Comprehensive health insurance package, including dental and vision coverage, available after 60 days.
• 5 days of PTO per year, awarded after 60 days.
• Two weeks of paid vacation per year, accessible after six months.
• Major holidays off.
Position Summary:
As the HVAC R Trainer your primary role will involve leadership in the training and education of our technicians, as well as overseeing our quality control processes. You will design and execute training programs, develop educational initiatives, and ensure the highest standards of quality across all of our operations.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and direct training and education programs for technicians, ensuring a thorough understanding of company procedures and objectives.
• Design and implement quality control protocols and procedures, ensuring company standards are met consistently.
• Evaluate current procedures and practices for accomplishing department objectives to develop and implement improved procedures and practices.
• Give direction and leadership toward the achievement of the organization's philosophy, mission, strategy, and its annual goals and objectives.
• Handle customer complaints regarding quality and take corrective action.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the company.
Job Requirements:
• Proven experience as a HVAC R Trainer or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC/R industry standards and best practices.
• Understanding of training and education methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills.
• Experience with quality control and an understanding of the tools and techniques used in the field.
• Contractor license a plus
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or related field. Preferred
Location & Schedule:
This position operates from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with availability required for nights and weekends as needed.
