Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As a Senior Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing service and installation activities associated with store products and services in an accurate and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and provide high-quality service to customers.
• Drive company vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Perform various service tasks, including checking and filling fluids, replacing filters, lubricating vehicles, oil changes, inspecting/servicing brake systems, component parts, tires, tire services, battery replacement, lights, steering, and suspension.
• Tire management: definitions, sizing, sidewall markings, inspection, repair, balancing, inventory, and ancillary services.
• Check and replace various filters and fluids.
• Familiarize yourself with shop safety policies and procedures.
• Explain services and products to customers.
• Operate point-of-sale hardware and software.
• Prepare and inspect work orders, VIP Checklist, and Vehicle Inspection Form (Health Check) for completeness.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to speak, read, and write English is preferred.
