Job Overview
The Chiller Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, conducting regular inspections, and monitoring and calibrating control systems. They will also collaborate with clients to understand their specific maintenance needs and provide expert recommendations.
Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of chiller systems.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Monitor and calibrate control systems to ensure accurate and efficient operation of chillers.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific maintenance needs and provide expert recommendations.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including tasks performed and parts used.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Work in accordance with safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in chiller maintenance.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Chiller Maintenance Technician or in a similar HVAC maintenance role.
• Strong understanding of chiller systems, refrigeration cycles, and cooling principles.
• Familiarity with various types of chiller control systems and their maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues related to chillers.
• EPA certification for handling refrigerants is a plus.
