We are hiring a skilled Commercial Meter Service Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary, starting at $15.00 per hour.
The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering information from commercial utility meters to determine gas or electricity usage amounts and entering this data into our database for accurate cost of consumption.
Responsibilities:

• Gather meter readings from commercial locations in a timely and accurate manner
• Assess and troubleshoot issues with meter equipment
• Enter data into our database for accurate cost of consumption
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers
Requirements:

• Prior experience in meter reading is preferred but not required
• Ability to walk over 6 miles per day in all weather conditions
• Good attendance and timeliness history
• Ability to comprehend new hand-held/tablet technology
• Strong directional skills and ability to read maps via GPS instruments and websites
