About the Position
Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC is seeking an experienced Area Service Manager, Ductless and VRF Systems to join our team. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong background in HVAC systems, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to travel up to 50% domestically and occasionally internationally.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a geographic area of responsibility within the Business Unit, working closely with the Business Unit Technical Services Manager and Sr Area Service Managers to ensure seamless delivery of our products and solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of ductless, commercial, and VRG systems and controls, as well as experience with BMS/BAS and BACnet.
Responsibilities
• Managing a geographic area of responsibility within the Business Unit.
• Working closely with the Business Unit Technical Services Manager and Sr Area Service Managers to ensure seamless delivery of our products and solutions.
• Providing technical support to technicians and distributor staff through various channels.
• Developing and delivering training programs to customers and distributor personnel.
• Collaborating with the Service and METUS QA Teams to resolve field product quality issues.
Requirements
• HVAC 2-year Associate Degree or HVAC Technical School Certification.
• EPA Certification.
• 3-5 years of experience in servicing HVAC products.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
